There’s nothing better than a warm
and relaxing bath, surrounding by candles, soft music, and the light hum of the
massaging jets, right? But, imagine coming home after a hard day at work only
to find that your tub is looking less than glamorous! While jetted tubs can be a joy
to indulge in, they can be prone to mold and bacteria – especially within the
bath’s jet streams. Fortunately they
aren’t hard to clean. Most tubs come with cleaning instructions, but if you
can’t seem to find them, follow these simple steps!
- Fill the tub until the jets are covered about 2-3 inches with warm water.
- Add 2 tablespoons of dish soap and 1 cup of white vinegar.
- Run the jets for about 15 minutes.
- Drain the tub and clean the surface with your normal bath cleaner.
- Refill the tub and run the jets for about 5 more minutes.
- Drain the tub.
Remember, every make and model is
different, so if you are worried, be sure to check the tub’s manual for
specific instructions or give Steam Sauna Depot a call and we can assist you
with any cleaning alterations that may need to be taken. You’ll be on your way
to a sparkling clean tub in no time!
